Great product
There are so many kinds of triggers out there, it’s almost impossible to choose the right one. Stop looking and buy these. The materials used are top notch and the response from them far outperforms my Roland vdrums pads. Would buy these again in a heartbeat. Great customer service too.

Excellent Quality
Excellent quality hardware that works perfectly out of the box. Everything arrived quickly. So quickly in fact that by the time I realized the tracking email had gone to my junk folder, the triggers had almost arrived already. The installation is quite simple. The instructions emphasize to take your time and understand the process even before you start, and I very much agree with that. But if you're on the fence and worried at all about the installation, I would say that anyone is absolutely capable of doing this as long as you're willing to read the instructions carefully and you have a few basic tools around. The hardest part by far was figuring out a plan for extracting the hardware in the vent holes of my shells, or in one case, drilling a new hole in a more convenient spot. Your vent hole hardware may be much easier than mine though. And if you're not handy, I'm sure it would be quite simple to have a drum shop do that step for you (or your handy neighbor, for that matter). I am using the module from my old Alesis Crimson 2, and I was expecting to do a good deal of fighting with it once I hooked everything up, being such a low-end module. Instead it was nearly plug-and-play! There are minor tweaks to trigger settings that have to happen to every edrum kit, but the fact that it was so close before I even messed with it was awesome! If I had one struggle with the installation, it would be that I know very little about electronics and when wiring up the jack (a very simple process thanks to the quick-connect wire ends) I struggled to understand which connection was the ring and which was the tip. It's possible that the tip is ever so slightly shorter, and when I wired it up that way, it worked. If you're unsure though, just make sure to test with your module early so you can switch it if needed before you have everything put together. Excellent product that where all of the hurdles you have to overcome to turn an acoustic kit into an ekit have already been figured out and solved for you. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants the feel of a full sized kit for their edrums.

Excellent quality
I am extremly happy with these triggers. I followed the instructions closely and, yes i made a few mistakes along the way, but nothing that was not correctable. The brackets are easy to install, are sturdy and the response from the triggers are as good as, IF NOT BETTER, than any other rebuilt trigger i have ever used. I love them. It made my A2E conversion everything i wanted it to be.

KISS (Keep it Simple Stupid)
KISS - Keep it simple stupid! I fell into the rabbit hole that is electronic drums in February of 2024. Since then, I have spent countless hours scouring forums, youtube, Edrum Mfrs, etc... for some truly inovative trigger designs meant to compensate for this issue or that. I explored DIY triggers, Name Brand, and boutique companies but at the end of the day UFO triggers seem to be a combination of all these solutions and they just work. You have to assemble them yourself for the most part and you can see how simple they really are and how quality the components are and THEY JUST WORK!!

Perfect for the job
I've done a lot of research into electric drums & A2E conversions, and having worked at an official Roland dealer for a couple of years I had a lot of experience with the flagship models of the biggest name in the industry. I grabbed a full kit of UFO triggers, 12/12/14/22, and several months later I'm thankful I went this route. Pairing these triggers with an edrumin8 is an incredible way to play, comparable with the response of the best non-digital/USB pads on the market for a fraction of the price & some time installing them. If you have the time and patience to wrestle with drum hardware then these are a no-brainer. In fact I'm looking at grabbing an extra 14, 16, and a full kit set of rim triggers in case I ever change my configuration; I don't want to bother with other pads or brands. These work so well that I'm entertaining different drum setups, much like I would with an acoustic or a full electric. I'd recommend these all day long.

Awesome!
I have been playing electronic drums for a few years, and I love how easy it is to sound check and change sounds. However I don't like the look of traditional electronic kits. I bought a Ludwig shell pack and converted it to electronic using the eBridge system from UFOdrums. The conversion was easy and worked perfectly with very little configuration changes. I did have to go to my local hardware store and buy longer screws to mount the bridge to the shells.

Great package, Happy customer!
Because of our speaker placement and typical volume, our Alesis DM10 MKII kit was too acoustically thuddy for a fair chunk of our small room even with the sound on, so we decided to try going hybrid. I settled on this conversion kit through research and have been very happy with the results. The installation flexibility this design offers is very nice. It took a bit to get the hang of the process, but we haven't had a failure over the two weeks we've been using it, and it's sounded great! Now with a hybrid kit, even when played muted, it sounds much better, but the response is very nice with the channels open. Several people thought we were just straight-up using an acoustic kit, so the overall shift has been great. Just have to figure out some new challenges with BGV mics picking up the cymbals, but that's another story (flour-sack towels seem thus far to help on volume without destroying tone). Support is great, with Mitch being responsive and helpful ever since day one, so here's a big thumbs-up on the people side as well! Three tips on the installation process: 1) If your lug screws are too short for the brackets, try using two pliers gripped on either side of the washer and bending it toward the screw head. After that, most of ours went into the lugs just fine. 2) Check your drum port locations before deciding to use those rather than drilling. I found that our floor tom port aligned with one of the legs, so with a cable connected, that leg can never be raised past the port. You may want the jack in a different location and would need to drill a new hole. 3) I found dark wash rags spread inside the reso head work really well for muffling the tone without visual offense. I put one in each of the toms and the snare. Now my 2-y-o son who loves drums can't tug on wires down the line, and the reso heads aren't too loud in our smaller room. We're also using Evans dB One mesh heads, which have unique attachments (a laser-cut mylar head on the snare for buzz and foam bits on the rest), and the set works well with these cones and pickups. Mitch and I were curious what the snare head experience would be like, but it's worked well thus far. Time will tell how that impacts the cone's wear and tear. If I were to go through this whole process again, I'd definitely come back and use this same system from this company.

Second visit.....
Had experimented with a competitors trigger system in a bass drum conversion project ten years ago. Results were satisfactory but didn't install the 'wow' factor in my endeavour. Quietly shelved and continued with Roland pads. Fast forward with the desire to try the A to E route again. Saw this company on a 65 Drums video, did my due diligence and pulled the trigger. I'm glad I did. Ordered a 14, 12, 14, 20 to rework a Tama Superstar Classic Neo Mod kit. Received in a timely fashion with excellent packaging. Took my time, as recommended by the emailed step by step tutorial. Rim condoms are a good fit and they work with both triple flange and die cast hoops. (An extra set of hands helped with the die cast installation). Not a fault of UFO, but I did not want to remove the badges and grommets from the shells. Trigger wires were long enough to extend to the jack which I mounted to a tension rod via a rubberized metal clip. The kit sounds are supplied by a SPD SX Pro. Great product! Thanks.

Good sturdy product. I was impressed with how well it worked out. I did have to flip L brakets on the kick mount to get the distance right. Be patient i took an entire week to install this on a 5 piece set.
